To be a successful, enlightened gynecologist, or a successful, communicating male, you have to be part psychiatrist. Cyclicity, or the lack thereof, between the brain and the female reproductive system is the major physiologic link that dictates all "basic female stuff." If you understand this concept then you are well on your way, and this book will help you complete your journey. The nice thing about owning it, and it should be a reference source in your library, not borrowed sporadically from the local library, is that it can grow old as the women you know gracefully age. Right now, "Bumps, Dips, and Owies" may be your primary concern, but, years from now your frayed copy will still be there when you need to know how to repel the "Attack of the Killer Hormones." Although the book is for the "hulking beasts," the authors have cleverly entitled it YOUR GUY'S GUIDE TO GYNECOLOGY. Drs. Bekkar and Wahn know who is going to buy this guide and give it to those who think "a vulva is a Swedish sports sedan." Without a doubt, they have filled a void in many bookshelves and many lives.
